Per-Vendor Shipping
Every vendor sets their own shipping price on each listing, and each shop charges one bundled rate at checkout. The bit Dokan Lite leaves out.
FREE COREVendor Holiday Mode
A seller flips one switch and their listings vanish from the shop until they are back. Nothing is unpublished, nothing is lost.
FREE COREInternational Shipping
Vendors post abroad on their own terms — one worldwide price, or a different price per continent. Leave a region blank and they simply do not post there.
£5 / $5 PER MONTHEscrow & Buyer Protection
Hold each vendor's payout on Stripe Connect until delivery, then release it automatically — with refund reversal and chargeback claw-back built in.
£5 / $5 PER MONTHMessaging & Offers
A private inbox with image attachments, make-an-offer negotiation, and a filter that stops buyers and sellers taking the deal off your platform.
£7 / $7 PER MONTHDisputes & Resolution
A buyer raises a problem, the seller answers, and it escalates to you if they do not. With a mediation queue and dispute-resolved refunds.
£5 / $5 PER MONTHMutual Reviews & Ratings
Buyers rate sellers and sellers rate buyers, feeding one unified store rating — the two-way system Dokan does not offer at any price.
£5 / $5 PER MONTHNotifications & Email Preferences
An in-app notification bell, a preference centre with one-click unsubscribe, and a log of every email your marketplace sends.
£5 / $5 PER MONTHHow BazaarKit is put together
BazaarKit is a free core plus a set of add-ons, and each add-on is a separate plugin with its own licence. That is unusual, and it is deliberate: a marketplace selling secondhand clothing needs escrow and messaging but may never care about international shipping, while a marketplace selling handmade furniture needs the opposite. Paying for one bundle that contains both is how most marketplace software is sold, and it is why it costs what it costs.
So you install the free core, add only the pieces you need, and cancel any one of them on its own. Everything lives behind one menu in WordPress admin — BazaarKit → Add-ons to switch things on and off, and BazaarKit → Settings for every setting except escrow, which has its own screen because it has the most to configure.
What you see before you have bought an add-on
Settings for an add-on you do not have a licence for are not hidden — they are shown padlocked, naming the add-on that owns them and listing exactly what it would let you change. It seemed more honest than a blank screen, and it means you can see what a module does before deciding whether it is worth £5.
It also tells apart the two states people confuse: “you have not bought this” and “you own this but it is switched off”. Those need different fixes, so they get different messages.
Common questions
Do I need Dokan Pro to use BazaarKit?
No. BazaarKit is built to work with Dokan Lite, the free version. If you already own Dokan Pro the two coexist, but nothing in BazaarKit requires it.
What does BazaarKit cost?
The core is free forever and includes per-vendor shipping and vendor holiday mode. Add-ons are £5 or $5 per month each, except Messaging & Offers which is £7 or $7 because it covers two features. There is also a one-off lifetime bundle for everything — see pricing.
Can I buy just one add-on?
Yes — that is the point of the design. Each add-on is a separate plugin with its own licence, so you pay for escrow without paying for reviews, or the other way round, and you can cancel any one of them without touching the rest.
What happens to my marketplace if I cancel an add-on?
The feature stops and the rest of your site carries on as normal — nothing is deleted, and your data stays in place if you subscribe again. Escrow is treated specially: if money is still held when a licence lapses, payouts keep releasing and refunds keep reversing until the ledger is empty. A licence never strands a vendor's money.
Does BazaarKit work with WooCommerce on its own, without Dokan?
BazaarKit is built for marketplaces, so it expects a multivendor plugin — it is developed and tested against Dokan. WooCommerce alone has no concept of separate vendors for shipping, payouts or messaging to attach to.
Where do I manage my licences?
Through your BazaarKit account, which is where you can update payment details, download your plugins, and start or cancel any subscription yourself.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The live demo is a real marketplace with every add-on switched on, and you can sign in as the store owner, a vendor or a buyer to see each side of it.
